2 Peter 2 Prayer Points

O God, our Deliverer, we give you thanks for rescuing us from the city of destruction and delivering us from the defilements of this world, for freeing us from slavery to sin and showing us the Way of truth and righteousness through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. O Lord, you have not only revealed to us your holy commandments, but you have trained our hearts for godliness, filling us with your Spirit and leading us to springs of living water.

Our Father, you have graciously invited us to the holy feast in the house of Zion where Christ, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed for us. O Lord, help us to keep the festival not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. O God, protect us from heresy, sensuality and greed. May we hate every lawless deed and every wicked desire, counting it pure pleasure to heed and obey your Word that we might walk in the joy of your presence. O Lord, keep our feet from stumbling and from wandering into false paths, we pray, in Jesus’ name.
