1 Thessalonians Ch.4

Sovereign Lord, you are perfect in love and holy in righteousness. You have not called us into your fellowship for impurity, but in holiness, so sanctify us through your Word that we might abstain from all impurity and sexual immorality walking closely with you in holiness and honor, learning to please you more and more. Teach us also to love and encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ, just as you do. And help us to live quietly, to work heartily, and to walk properly before outsiders that we might not be dependent on anyone. Strengthen us in the hope of the resurrection and of Christ’s return, we pray, that we might look forward to being with you forever.
