African Christian University
“In November of 2013, I received a request to join African Christian University in Lusaka Zambia as a missionary/lecturer. By August of 2014, after serving for a few months as the interim youth director at Tyrone, I left for Zambia. I joined ACU primarily as a mathematics lecturer, but I also have been serving as the student labor program coordinator, student mentor, and chapel leader, among other things. The last three years have been filled with many amazing things that I never thought possible.
When I arrived at ACU the university was not yet running, but seeking registration through the Zambian government. This process took a year and half to go through. Last year we had our
first group of students come through, and this year marks the second year that the university has been running. Currently we are offering four bachelors programs, along with a one year preuniversity program.
I thank the Lord for the ways in which He has used me and continues to use me in some small way here in Zambia.”
