Men & Women Alone With God

Men & Women Alone Ministry

The Men & Women Alone Ministry seeks to encourage men and women living alone to connect spiritually, socially, and emotionally. The benefit to each individual is enormous. We share a meal, devotional time, sometimes ministry outreach i.e. cards to missionaries, assembly and delivery of gift bags to shut-ins, prayer support ministry for the mission trip(s), Jesus Walk, TYM, and many other quiet prayerful outreaches. Visitation is also a vital part of this ministry for those who are able to do so. We schedule monthly luncheons or outings September through May. Please check the Tyrone web calendar for dates and times.

Our September -April luncheons have come to a close for the season.  Check back in August for information regarding our fall luncheon/event schedule.

Creation Museum Trip on October 17 & 18.
Tyrone’s Men & Women Alone group will travel with the Knox Presbyterian seniors from Harrison Twp. for a trip to the Creation Museum in Covington, KY.  We have chartered a bus and will leave on Thursday morning October 17 around 9:00 am.  We will be staying at the Best Western Plus in Covington that evening (www.TheCincinnatiRiverfront.com ).  After breakfast we will head to the Creation Museum.  By mid-afternoon we’ll head back north.  We have not figured out the cost yet, but it will be somewhere between $200.00 to $250.00, depending on how many group meals and side trips we have. More details to come.
